From Tampa to Africa: Sip N Color Goes Global

In September 2026, Sip N Color Collective took its creative wellness experience international for the first time.

The Colorful Wellness Tour brought Sip N Color from Tampa, Florida to communities in South Africa and Kenya, reaching 210 people through coloring experiences designed to create space for rest, creativity, and connection.

The journey began in Durban, South Africa, on September 9, 2026, before continuing to Kenya.

DURBAN, SOUTH AFRICA

The first international stop of the Colorful Wellness Tour was Durban, South Africa.

Dr. Monica Grant visited Musawenkosi Day Care Centre in Inanda, a center that cares for orphans and children of single mothers.

There, 40 children and 20 mothers and caregivers participated in a shared coloring experience.

For two hours, children and adults colored side by side, creating a moment of rest and connection in a community that rarely gets one.

The experience demonstrated something central to the Sip N Color philosophy: sometimes creating a little space to slow down can make a meaningful difference.

KENYA

BUSIA COUNTY

The journey continued to Busia County, Kenya, where Dr. Grant led a coloring session for 150 boarding students between the ages of 14 and 20 at Imprezza Academy Senior School.

The school was founded by the Hon. Catherine Omanyo, Woman Representative for Busia County.

The students gathered around their pages, picked up their colors, and created.

And just as in South Africa, the room became quiet.

Within approximately five minutes, people in both communities became focused on their artwork.

But the number is only part of the story.

The real measure of the experience was what happened after everyone sat down with a page and some colors.

As Dr. Monica Grant explained:

“When people get quiet and they're focusing on their artwork, that's how you know the medicine is working.”

She added:

“It all began right here in Tampa, and now we've watched it work on two continents. The world needs healing, and coloring is one of the simplest ways to begin.”

In September 2026, that idea crossed international borders.

And back in Tampa, the community can continue experiencing Sip N Color every Wednesday at Geo's Lounge in Ybor City.
